Chuck's BBQ was created in 1999 to bring mid-western style barbecue to Central California. Growing up in Kansas City, one of the barbecue capitals of the nation, I missed the smoky flavor of barbecued meats. I bought my barrel smoker in 1999 and started on a mission to bring the Central Valley smoked barbecue food that is rich in flavor, tender, and juicy, leaving behind the pink smoke ring you see here below. This doesn't mean it's not cooked. In fact, all meats are slow smoked for hours with natural wood to provide you with the most tender and succulent tasting barbecue food you've ever had. The key to our delicious barbecue food is indirect heat. This method allows the meats to absorb the smoke giving it a distinctive flavor. NO GRILLING HERE! The meat's flavor stands on it's own, that many of our customers don't want to cover the taste with BBQ sauce; but it's just as delicious if you do put the sauce in! | |
